Job Purpose/Objectives
As a Hire Controller, you will manage depot resources efficiently to support the Depot Manager in daily operations. Your role will focus on maximising revenue and profit by effectively hiring cranes and ancillaries, while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements and provide optimal solutions.
- Utilise in-depth product knowledge to convert hire enquiries into orders.
- Maximise sales opportunities and maintain customer relationships.
- Efficiently manage depot resources and fleet allocation.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Handle customer enquiries promptly, controlling costs and maintaining accurate administrative records.
Education/Knowledge/Experience
Person Specification:
- Minimum GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
