I am a young lady who lives in Hawick with my mother. I am looking for someone to become part of a small team of 2 or 3 Personal Assistants. I require assistance daily with personal care tasks, meal prep and assisting with my physio exercises. I also attend groups and activities in the local area and support to attend will be part of the role.
Terms:
- Monday to Friday only
- Hours are approximately 9am until 4pm. There may be a degree of flexibility for the right person
- Shadow shift offered prior to starting
- £13.20 per hour
- Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
- Probationary period of 6 months
- Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership
Job Description
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- To help me with all aspects of my personal care throughout the day
- Help to prepare my meals and snacks
- Assist me to get to classes and groups in the area
- Spend social time with me attending social activities
- To develop a positive relationship with the me and work as part of a team
- To be comfortable with assisting with my gym exercises and physio
- To be able to swim and assist me in the pool and change
