Position: Russell Group University GEOGRAPHY Graduate Teaching Assistant
Type of work: Graduate Teaching Assistant No prior education experience required
Start date: ASAP
Contract type: Temporary with potential to become permanent
Full-time/Part-time: FULL-TIME
Minimum rate of pay: GBP100 per day
Hours: 8 AM 4 PM
GEOGRAPHY GRADUATE DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):
Supporting students of all abilities, including those with EAL and SEN
Leading intervention sessions and booster groups for students in need of extra support
Assisting with extracurricular activities
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideally, you will have graduated from a Russell Group university with a degree in ANY subject
No previous education experience is required
Up-to-date Safeguarding Training (desirable but not essential) available for free here: Prospero Teaching Safeguarding Training
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:
Have the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to apply for one)
Provide two professional references
