Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) based in Chelmsford. The VDA will be responsible for inspecting damaged vehicles, assessing the extent of the damage, and estimating the cost of repairs. The VDA will ensure that all estimates are accurate and comply with industry standards, liaise with customers and insurance companies, and coordinate with the repair team to ensure that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience in vehicle damage assessment and estimating repair costs
- Knowledge of industry standards and repair techniques
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Certification in vehicle damage assessment (ATA VDA or equivalent) is a plus
- Proficiency with estimating software and office applications
- Valid UK driving license
