Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups, including testing and surgeries
- Assist with scheduling templates
- Answer phones, triage calls, respond to patient requests, take messages
- Check-in patients, verify demographic and insurance info
- Support revenue cycle activities like registration and insurance verification
- Collect copayments
- Prepare medical records and input data into EMR
- Monitor patient flow and communicate delays
- Assist with billing and reconciliation
- Perform general office tasks: faxing, filing, mailing, supplies, calendar, mail
- Support department physicians with clerical tasks
