We currently have afantastic opportunity for anAssembly & TestTechnician for a leading engineering company based in Netley, Southampton.
Introduction
The primary role of the Assembly & Test Technician will be to provide support to the engineering team with mechanical testing as well as the assembly, repair build of the site\’s products to high specifications.
Responsibilities
- Setting up, preparation and testing mechanical assemblies.
- Recording and processing test result data
- Maintain strict company health and safety guidelines
Ideal Experience
- Previous experience withinmechanical assembly or mechanical test
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to readassembly / engineering drawings and work to instructions
- Attention to detail
- IT literate with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Any experience with composites, hydraulics, or 3D CAD would be an advantage
Hours:Day Shift – Flex on start and finish times
Salary:£26,000 – £30,000
Benefits:Pension, Healthcare Scheme, Flexiblestart and finish times
