We are looking for a responsible, compassionate, & hardworking Kennel Tech to join our team. In this role, you\’ll provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, cleaning, exercising, and monitoring their health. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, & committed to maintaining a clean, safe, & positive environment for our K9 guests.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for dogs, including but not limited to feeding, watering, & administering medications
- Clean and disinfect kennels
- Document/charting
- Exercise/potty breaks
- Assist with bathing/grooming of dogs
- Maintain cleanliness & organization of supplies and the building
- Communicate effectively with team members on information about dogs that needs to be passed on
- Assist clients with the loading and unloading of dogs and supplies
- Support trainers and management as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 or above
- 1+ year experience as Kennel Tech preferred, but not required
- This position requires the ability to stand and bend for long periods of time, and lift 40 or more pounds.
- Graduated from high school, received a GED, or equivalent
Compensation
$10 – $14 hourly
