Job Title: MOT Tester

We are seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join our friendly staff team and assist with the development of our branch.

Our MOT Tester positions are dedicated roles that play a crucial part within our branches. By conducting MOT Testing to DVSA standards on various vehicle types, our MOT Testers help meet customer needs and work closely with staff to ensure an efficient workshop flow. If you hold a current DVSA card, enjoy working as part of a team, and take pride in your work, please submit your CV at your earliest convenience.

You will perform MOT tests in line with DVSA guidelines, diagnose faults, and provide written reports on component defects or systems with potential failure. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

Only MOT Testers with the appropriate qualifications and experience should apply. We offer excellent earning potential, a good bonus scheme, and supportive working practices.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct MOTs in line with DVSA guidelines and company policies.
  • Ensure all MOTs are performed in full compliance with DVSA standards.
  • Carry out work observing safe working practices for yourself and others.

Working Hours & Benefits:

  • 48 hours per week (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM on Saturday)
  • Potential for up to 44 days paid leave (including bank holidays)

  • Training at IMI-approved Training Academies (Strood/Reading)
