As a QA/Tester, you will ensure high-quality delivery across our internal platforms, including Power Platform applications, client portals, data integrations, and operational tooling. You’ll apply structured, agile testing methods to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-focused solutions. Collaborating closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders, you\’ll embed quality throughout the development lifecycle and help mitigate delivery risks. Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results People:
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers to refine requirements and acceptance criteria
- Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases across Power Platform applications (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Conduct UI, API, and database testing, including SQL data validation
- Maintain test plans and regression suites aligned to sprint and release cycles
- Log and track bugs and enhancement suggestions using Azure DevOps or Jira
- Validate system and data integrity across multiple integration points
- Support UAT coordination and facilitate feedback loops with stakeholders
- Promote and uphold QA best practices and continuous improvement
- Monitor, report, and track quality metrics
Skills & Experience
- Experience in QA or software testing within an agile environment
- Familiarity with the SDLC and agile methodologies
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- SQL proficiency for data validation and troubleshooting
- Experience with test case design, execution, and documentation
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience testing REST APIs and cloud-based services
- Exposure to Dynamics 365, Dataverse, or Azure technologies
- Scripting experience or test automation knowledge

Work Environment:
- Standard indoor working environment.
- Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
- Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the firm as well as interaction with external vendors and clients as necessary.
