Are you looking to make a difference? Then join our team of gifted educators at the South Dakota School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. We are looking for an individual to assist in the classroom activities as well as life skills for our students.

Primary duties are to:

· Assist the classroom teacher

· Helping to create a positive learning environment.

· Support people with daily living activities, such as:

* Help people with basic needs, like showering and dressing

· Follow and implement individualized plans and support people to achieve their goals

· Serve children with a wide range of physical needs

· Help foster and maintain dignity, privacy, and comfort for people

· Helping children be the best that they can be!

· This is a full-time, 12-month position with a full benefits package; including South Dakota Retirement plan.
