The role

As an Investment Services Administrator, you will be an integral part of the Investment Services team, reporting to the Investment Services Manager and supporting the Portfolio Managers. Your work will ensure the delivery of high‑quality services to our Financial Advisers and clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Process client requests and ensure they are completed within the agreed SLA.
  • Handle withdrawals, Bed and ISAs, death claims and general client maintenance.
  • Maintain cash position monitoring for client accounts across all service propositions.
  • Support medium‑risk queries and provide timely assistance to consultants and team members.
  • Update model portfolios on provider platforms and manage cash reporting for low and high cash providers (excluding AFH Direct).
  • Document all instructions and transactions in line with established procedures to provide a robust audit trail.
  • Maintain diary management and record keeping processes to support compliance standards.
  • Apply Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles and GDPR requirements to daily tasks.

What we are looking for

  • Good knowledge of the Financial Services Market and Investment Products.
  • Familiarity with relevant operational procedures.
  • Experience with Pershing’s Nexus, XPlan, Nexus Complete or similar software systems.
  • Understanding of TCF principles and GDPR and how they apply to the role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
