Job Title: Report Writer Department: IT Location: Hemswell Cliff, Lincolnshire (commutable from Lincoln, Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Gainsborough, and Doncaster areas) Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week, 08:30–17:00) Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum About Us: My client are a leading UK-based manufacturer of vitamins, minerals, and supplements. Operating from a state-of-the-art facility, we export to over 50 countries and are renowned for producing high-quality tablets, capsules, gummies, and powder blends. The Role: As a Report Writer, you will play a pivotal role in our IT department by designing, building, and maintaining reports and dashboards. You'll ensure our key stakeholders have access to actionable insights derived from business data to support strategic goals. The ideal candidate will work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly using Microsoft Power BI. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support various business initiatives. * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions. * Ensure compliance with data security standards, including GDPR. * Support live dashboards and provide ongoing advice on BI tools. * Stay updated on IT and BI trends and emerging technologies. Skills and Qualifications: * Degree in IT, Business Intelligence, OR equivalent experience. * Certifications in Microsoft Power BI or related BI fields are desirable. * Proficiency in Microsoft applications, CRM systems, ERP systems, and SQL. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * Experience with BI tools in corporate settings, and knowledge of data security practices. * Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
