Join Hoxton Farms as our part-time office and laboratory cleaner
We’re looking for a dedicated, reliable cleaner to help keep our entire workspace clean, safe, and professional. You’ll be an essential part of daily life at Hoxton Farms, ensuring that our environment is spotless, organised, and ready for cutting-edge laboratory activities every day.
This is a part-time, early-morning role, ideal for someone who takes pride in their duties, can work safely, efficiently and independently, and wants to contribute to a purpose-driven company in a supportive and respectful team environment.
You will:

Clean and sanitise office areas, laboratory areas, meeting rooms, toilets, kitchen and communal spaces

Follow specific protocols for cleaning sensitive laboratory areas (training provided)

Mop floors, vacuum carpets, dust surfaces, empty bins, launder lab coats and wipe down desks and work areas

Refill soap, hand sanitiser, toilet roll and other consumables as required

Follow appropriate health and safety and hygiene procedures, with particular care taken in lab areas

Proactively report and escalate maintenance issues or supply needs to our Office Manager and Lab Operations team
You should have/be:

Previous cleaning experience in office, lab, hospitality or commercial settings

Ability to follow procedures for working safely around sensitive lab environments

A strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality work

Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet

Reliable, punctual and consistent

The details:
Salary: £15 per hour (paid monthly)
Schedule: expected 20 hours per week (Tues–Fri 5-9am + 4 hours on Saturday)

Pension plan (matching up to 5% and salary sacrifice)
️ 5.6 weeks\’ holiday + bank holidays
