Academics are looking for a strong, confident SEN Teaching Assistant to support children within the classroom at a warm friendly Primary school in Southampton. This is to start immediately on a full time basis. To be considered for work as a Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to confidently work with pupils who have complex behaviours and learning needs. You will need to support the pupil\’s independent learning and progress in accordance with the schools ethos and behaviour management strategies. To be considered for this role, you must: Have SEND experience Strong behaviour management skills Have confidence in working with children and young people to pass on knowledge Be calm, patient and empathetic Strive for excellence in order to ensure student success Have an innovative, creative attitude and strategic thinker Demonstrate a proactive and collaborative approach to working with others You will need an enhanced DBS check, if you do not have one we can assist in submitting this.
