Morson is delighted to be working in partnership with a market leading aerospace organisation to recruit a Senior Purchasing Enginer for an initial contract until the end of 2025. There is a rate of £24.78 PAYE or £32.21 Umbrella Per hour on offer for the successful candidate. The role would involve a hybrid working arrangement with 2-3 days a week on site in Samlesbury and 1-2 days a week working from home. Job Description • Work as a member of the procurement team representing the Procurement Function in Critical Customer Reviews • Manage an Order Book on behalf of the Customer to drive critical requirements through the Supplier facing Buying Teams • Be the escalation point from the Customer into the Supplier Management Teams, to manage urgent adhoc requirements and performance improvements where needed • Be an escalation point for Procurement into the Customer & Supply Chain Teams to improve responsiveness • Manage adherence to Governance, Policy and Processes to achieve compliance to customer, product, legal and business requirement • Support Tactical resolution of issues which are preventing a customer requirement from being delivered.
