We are looking for a 4 day week (max 48 hours) experienced Nanny/Mother\’s Help for a busy family with 3 children currently aged, 5, 3 and 8 months from September/ October. The family live in a rural but easily accessible location close to Hadleigh, approx 10 miles south of Ipswich and 11 miles north of Colchester, within 8 minutes of the A12.
We would like someone ideally looking for a long term position to come and be a valued part of our happy and friendly family, taking sole charge of the 3 children Monday to Thursday – 7am to 7pm. Both parents will be working in London three days a week, so we require someone who the children will love, someone who is very capable and comfortable looking after multiple children, proactive and kind, and also someone who is punctual and reliable.
The day will begin with breakfast and getting the children ready for nursery and school, whilst keeping the baby (who will be 1 year old in October) happy. The children will then need to be dropped safely to their respective nursery and school in Hadleigh. The 3 year old will be at nursery 3 out of the 4 days
Whilst the children are at school/ nursery you will have sole charge of the baby keeping her entertained and carrying out tasks around the family home working around baby\’s nap times, meals etc. Tasks will include all childcare, cooking, driving to nursery/ school including any after school clubs and keeping the children\’s areas of the house clean and tidy and doing their laundry. Ability to cook healthy children\’s meals is essential.
We have a lovely large garden and indoor swimming pool. Given the children\’s personalities, the ideal person will be a happy, active and energetic, outdoorsy type who can make playtime fun. Someone who loves children and understands the requirements for each age. Someone creative who can help the children flourish whether it be reading, painting, playing football or cooking.
Car driver with a clean UK licence essential and an in date DBS and non-smoker. Paediatric first aid preferred.
