We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Management Accountant
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
- To hit the ground running as the successful candidate will join a busy finance team working to tight month end deadlines and delivering an ever increasing demand for analysis and reporting
- Managing budgets and financial information including variance reporting etc for the month end close.
- Involved in the P&L management and reporting for a number of units with the company.
- Take on the responsibility to control Shared Services balance sheet reconciliations
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Management accounting techniques – variance analysis, trend analysis, identify risks and opportunities, question inconsistencies and potential errors in data. Formulate solutions to reporting issues or inefficiencies
- Knowledge of S4/Hana useful but not essential
- Power Query and other reporting tools knowledge would be an advantage
Skills/Experience
- Good level of Management accounting experience
- Strong excel skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Communicate effectively at various levels of the organisation
- Effectively prioritise own work and assist with managing work loads of our offshore finance support team
