Payables and Receivables Officer

We are currently partnering with a public sector organisation , who are recruiting for a Payables and Receivables Officer to join their team on a one-month temporary basis, with a strong possibility of extension . This is a full-time position based in South Manchester and offering hybrid working of 2-3 days working from home. The hourly rate is £14.84 PAYE , the start date is as soon as possible. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Logging and processing invoices and credit notes, ensuring correct VAT coding Posting all cash relating to the accounts payable function, ensuring the CIS legislation is complied with Managing invoices in query and work to reduce these as far as possible Matching invoices to POs and preparing weekly BACS payment Assisting with maintaining the Accounts Payable and Receivable ledgers Liaising with internal colleagues for tenant queries Processing sales ledger cash, intercompany and sales invoices Answering queries from the shared Accounts Receivable inbox within the SLA timescale Experience required: Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Rewards and benefits: Hybrid working (2-3 days WFH) Strong possibil…
