Mechanical Project Manager Location: Liverpool Salary: Up To £60,000 We are currently looking for a Mechanical project manager on behalf of a client who specialize in all aspects of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) engineering, with over 20 years\’ of experience and knowledge of working across a wide range of sectors including Education, Commercial & Air Source & Ground Source Heat Pumps Installations. Responsibilities As they embark on an exciting scale-up journey, they are looking for a dedicated Mechanical Project Manager to join the team in there Liverpool office, This role involves * Project Planning and Scheduling: * Develop comprehensive project plans for each project, including scope, timeline budget, and resource allocation. * Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring all tasks and milestones are identified and tracked and targets are achieved. * Carry out and complete on-site surveys to ensure clients expectations both in terms of specification, timescales and costs are achievable prior to project commencement. * Support the operations team in carrying out ‘pre-condition’ surveys of client sites as and when required or requested The Opportunity As a Mechanical Project Manager r, you will play a critical part in the continued growth of the business through your client-facing role, you will being responsible for managing and prioritizing your workload, ensuring that the information you are responsible for is captured in the systems and communicated to the client in a timely fashion, to the highest standards. * Estimate project costs at pre-contract stage using Senate’s project forecast system. * Commercial targets to be shared and agreed with Operations Director prior to project start. * Continued monitoring of project costs during the project lifecycle (including labour, plant, materials, and sub-contractors) and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints through to handover. * With the support of the Operations Director, completion of Mech Valuations monthly including consolidation and reporting of approved and unapproved variations. * Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers, subcontractors, and apprentices. Experiences Required * 5 Years + Mechanical Project Management Experience * Mechanical Biased * Good PC skills, especially estimating software systems and Microsoft office.
