Job Description
CNC Sliding Head Setter
The Company
You will be working with the world\’s largest plastics machining business.
The Role
Your duties will include setting CNC sliding head machines for production, making in-process adjustments, maintaining quality control of the parts you are producing, and liaising with the machine cell support and QC teams.
The work will include the following:
- Setting and operation of Citizen CNC sliding head machines
- Making in-process adjustments
- Working from engineering drawings
The Candidate
To apply for this role, you must:
- Have experience setting and operating Citizen CNC sliding head machines.
- Experience with Fanuc controls is preferred.
- Experience machining plastic components is preferred.
- A good understanding of engineering drawings.
- Preferably STAR experience; however, this isn\’t essential.
Working hours:
- Early shift: 6am-2pm, Monday-Friday
- Late shift: 1:30pm-10pm, Monday-Thursday
- Fridays: 1:30pm-6:40pm
