About the job Newly Qualified Accountant
We are looking to recruit a newly qualified (ACA or ACCA) accountant to join their Audit and Accounts team working out of our Chelmsford office. Working to deliver a broad range of services to a number of business clients, this opportunity would suit an individual who is looking to progress their career having recently qualified. The ideal candidate will be newly qualified, with at least 3 years practice experience. Audit experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
The main duties of the role are:
• Preparation of year-end statutory accounts;
• Preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts;
• Involvement in audit work at client premises or remotely;
• Assisting clients with queries;
• Assist with the management of the staff;
• Ad hoc financial duties;
• Assisting senior staff with ad hoc projects;
Key characteristics include strong attention to detail and communication skills, a professional approach to clients and colleagues and a firm commitment to providing top quality client service. The ability to drive and live locally to the Chelmsford office will be essential. The individual should be ambitious and keen to progress their career with a growing firm.
