Our client is looking to recruit a dynamic & innovative Regional Maintenance Engineer to join their committed and passionate team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs, proactive maintenance tasks and regular inspections/audits across an allocated number of stores within your dedicated region.
Your visits will be scheduled on a weekly reactive basis, and you will also be required to attend the stores for emergency reactive visits to meet with client SLA’s.
You will be provided with a specifically designed van to hold and manage your maintenance stock, and you will be required to provide daily reports to head office via our bespoke reporting tool.
You will deliver exceptional customer service and support the Account Delivery Team.

What will your role look like?
- Make daily visits to your dedicated stores to repair, maintain, and clean store display equipment and furniture, ensuring all meet Health & Safety requirements.
- Liaise with store managers and staff to ensure all required work is actioned and reported via our bespoke online reporting tool. Major works that cannot be fixed during reactive calls must be reported to the Account Delivery Team through the same tool.
- Manage your van stock inventory and report all stock usage daily via the bespoke reporting system.
- Travel to job sites using the company vehicle provided to you, equipped specifically to hold and manage your maintenance stock.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and provide ongoing support to the Account Delivery Team.
- Visiting retail properties to carry out repairs & maintenance as per the schedule arranged for that day
- Carry out basic electrics (Plug in play LED systems, bulbs/fittings, replacing switches)
- Carry out basic carpentry (changing locks, handles & doors)
- Carry out basic painting and decorations
- Carry out basic handyman services
- Update jobs via the portal, ensuring audits are thorough and good quality pictures are taken
- Where jobs are to be quoted, to provide a report with the materials needed, and the time needed to carry out further repairs, along with a description of the issue.
