We are seeking an experienced, proactive, dedicated House Manager to join our client's private household team. This can be live in or live out. Based in Derbyshire, as House Manager you will efficiently manage the private household Housekeeping, Steward and Kitchen teams, ensuring the highest standards and a seamless, positive and professional service is provided at all times. You will have a current working knowledge and awareness of all aspects of personal service and have excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire a team when needed whether through strong interpersonal skills or natural composure and a calm, consistent leadership style and be happy to be hands-on when needed. A background in senior level hospitality/front of house and/or private household is required. You will be able to demonstrate superb time management, exemplary attention to detail and a passion for excellence. A strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications including Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel will also be beneficial. This is a full-time, permanent, year-round position. Weekend and evening working will be required. There will also be a requirement to work at other locations, which will include occasional work in Yorkshire or London to oversee team duties. This is a very busy family orientated household, doing a great deal of entertaining on both a formal and informal basis and therefore there is a need to be calm, efficient and adaptable. Complete confidentiality and attention to detail is a prerequisite.
