SEN Teaching Support – Southampton Teaching Assistant's needed for our client Schools in Southampton that cater for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties and Special Educational Needs. Primary / Secondary – SEN & Mainstream – Southampton Academics are looking for strong, confident Teaching Assistant's to support the social skills, emotional well being and mental health of the students within our client SEN schools. We have a very high demand for support staff within schools for the next academic year, we support a number of SEN/SEMH schools looking for enthusiastic, caring and self-motivated Teaching Assistants who are available to start ASAP! The school's we work with are seeking SEN Teaching Support to help provide alternative education for children who have social & emotional difficulties such as anxiety and school refusal due to developmental trauma and adverse childhood experiences, specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dyscalculia and autism and other associated needs. As a Teaching Assistant/Mental Health Support Assistant you will be working closely with trained professionals including Psychologists and Therapists and will have the opportunity to shadow their work.
