We\’re recruiting for a Counterbalance driver to join our client based in Rothley on a on-going basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for consistent, on-going work.
Start Date: ASAP
The role is a Monday to Friday position 2pm-10pm, with overtime available on weekends\’
Pay Rate is £12.37 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles – Handball
- Storing goods in the correct locations within the warehouse
- Conducting regular stock checks and inventory management
- Ensuring the warehouse is clean, safe, and organised
- Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts (training provided if required)
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Heavy lifting may be required, up to 20kg
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is desirable but not essential
- FLT experience
- Externally verified CB licence -RITB or ITSAAR accredited
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items
- Excellent team player with a positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- English speaking
