We are looking for a CNC Turner to work on a permanent basis for our client who are based in Knowsley.
As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting, operating and creating or modifying CNC programs to produce precision parts. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various machinery and software.
Our client may consider candidates with some relevant basic CNC or Precision Machinery Operation experience and they can offer training and support. This would be reflected in the initial pay rate.
The Package:
* per hour basic salary, plus occasional overtime
* Monday- Thursday 7am-4pm & Friday 7am- midday-
* 25 daysβ holiday plus bank holidaysβ

Responsibilities:
The CNC Turner role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various machinery and software.
β Creating and modifying CNC programs to produce precision parts.
β Develop and modify CNC programs on the machine and using CAD/CAM software Fusion360)
β Set up and operate CNC machines to machine parts according to specifications
β Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure accuracy and adherence to design specifications
β Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize part designs for manufacturing
β Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
β Maintain a clean and organized work area
β Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
The Candidate:
To be the right person for the CNC Turner role you must have:
β Previous experience as a CNC Turner or similar role
β Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes
β Able to use dimensional measuring equipment and understand imperial and metric systems
β Knowledge of Fanuc and Siemens controllers
β Experience CAD/CAM software, such as Fusion360 β preferred, not essential
β Some basic workplace CNC Milling experience- preferred, not essential
β Okuma, Mori Seiki, Tornado, HAAS machinery experience- preferred, not essential
