Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on individual to join our shop floor team who can also take responsibility for creating and delivering training documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This is a dual-role requiring both practical shop floor work and the ability to develop and train others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the shop floor team to support daily operations
  • Develop, write, and maintain clear and practical training materials and SOPs
  • Deliver hands-on training to new and existing staff, ensuring full understanding and compliance
  • Collaborate with team leaders and management to identify training needs and improvement areas
  • Ensure health & safety and quality standards are clearly communicated and consistently followed
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the floor
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in a similar training and operational role
  • Strong PC and documentation skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, possibly PowerPoint)
  • Confident delivering training and guiding others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • FLT (Forklift Truck) licence preferred
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
