The Opportunity
Join our team at BDA\\\’s Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services Capability as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
We\\\’re looking for skilled, driven individuals to join the P-8A Poseidon program at RAAF Base Edinburgh, to help keep these aircraft mission ready. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you\\\’ll be hands‑on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault‑finding on aircraft systems. You will:
- Collaborating with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion
- Ensuring compliance within the DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations
- Fostering effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams
- Ensuring Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices
- Embrace a positive attitude towards Environmental Health & Safety, prioritizing the well‑being of all personnel
What you will bring to BDA
As an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will have:
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics)
- Be an Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements
- Hold a current driver\\\’s licence
Desirable
- Previous experience working with Military aircraft
- Hold a CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence
