What you’ll do
This role sits in the Finance Transformation team within the Finance organisation in Vodafone UK and is assigned to Project Victoria.
Project Victoria is a transformation programme managed by the Digital Data and Transformation team which will migrate all mobile Business Customers from legacy billing platforms to the CCS platform.
The Change Specialist represents Finance and is responsible for ensuring that all impacts of the changes being delivered are assessed and understood, and readiness plans are created and implemented in partnership with Finance so that the change lands successfully, ensuring the best possible experience for customers.
The successful candidate will draw on their own subject matter knowledge of Readiness Management to inform the programme and will act as the conduit between Project Victoria and Finance. They will engage regularly with Finance stakeholders to enable strategic decisions and champion solutions for issues that impact the Finance area.

Represent Finance by feeding in operational requirements to Product owners to aid design, make recommendations based on the impacted Finance journeys and act as point of sign off for designs,

Carry out impact assessments to determine change and readiness requirements for the Finance resulting from Victoria

Collaborate closely with service design and process specialists to ensure the documented Finance journeys and associated work instructions meet the needs of Finance

Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies, escalating for support where required

Keep Finance stakeholders engaged and updated about Victoria, involving directly where required or consulting to enable key decisions

Manage Finance comms within sales, collaborating with programme and sales comms leads to determine approach, timing, audience, content.

Working knowledge of project management, operational readiness and/or change management principles and processes.

Understanding of Finance processes and systems, preferably in a customer facing or channel partner environment would be beneficial.

Experience of conducting impact assessments and planning and managing operational readiness activities.

Excellent stakeholder management skills enabling cross-functional collaboration up to Senior level. Strong communication and presentation skills
