Lubbock Fine is a successful 22 Partner accountancy and tax advisory practice. We are also the founder member of the award-winning global network Russell Bedford International. Due to a period of considerable growth, we plan to expand our team to 200 members of staff this year. Our specialist business desks look after clients in France, Portugal, India, the Middle East and Africa, we have business operations in the Cayman Islands. Our Dubai office, established in 2006, was one of the first to register as auditors with the Dubai Financial Services Authority.
Our clients cover a vast array of sectors including property investment businesses, natural resources, and renewable energy firms, the media & entertainment sector, technology, FCA registered firms, charities and large funds with up to £4bn in assets. Our Tax Team
The tax team currently has 30 staff from trainee to partner level. The team looks after the tax affairs of the firm’s private and corporate clients, covering all aspects of the UK tax system. The work is varied and challenging, including compliance matters such as tax return preparation, and advisory projects.
Tax Trainee – Job Specification
- You will work alongside our experience team of tax professionals
- You will be provided with full study support and a training contract to complete the ATT and CTA qualifications
- You will be involved in compliance as well as advisory matters
- As your experience grows you will become involved in more complex tax matters and be allocated a portfolio of clients
- You will receive training and feedback from exceptional practitioners, along with international and advisory exposure with clients
- You will have the opportunity to further develop your business inter-personal skills, and build your career within the firm
- You will get the chance to enjoy and participate in a wide range of firm social events and external networking
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- A minimum of 112 UCAS points (with a minimum level 6 in GCSE Maths & English) or a minimum 2.1 degree result
- An interest in a career in tax with a desire to study for the ATT qualification
- The ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
- Excellent IT and presentation skills
- The desire and ability to develop and grow your career in a forward-thinking and supportive environment
