Job Description
TPF Recruitment, Kent\’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is supporting a Sevenoaks-based accountancy practice that is looking for an Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper to join their team.
The Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper will be responsible for general bookkeeping, VAT returns, supporting with management accounts, and training clients on cloud software.
This role offers a great opportunity to develop your technical knowledge by working on complex and interesting work. The firm provides lots of support and on-the-job training.
The firm acts for varied clients, including a £100m commercial property client, a restaurant franchise, and an investment company. The role involves delivering bookkeeping, support with management accounts, VAT, and other services to diverse clients.
Responsibilities
- Preparing financial data up to trial balance
- Double entry bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
- Prepayments and accruals
- VAT returns
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
Requirements
- AAT studying, qualified, or qualified by experience
- Experience with Xero or QuickBooks software
- Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure
