SolidWorks CAD Engineer – Essex / Cambridge borders – £35-45K + Benefits – Permanent. Mechanical Engineer with excellent SolidWorks 3D CAD skills and the ability to generate detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of engineering designs will contribute to a range of designs from full radar system assemblies to smaller precision-engineered electrical modules. Of particular interest is experience relating to electronic / electrical products and systems or you may be an electronics hobbyist. Salary on offer up to C£45K + good benefits. The successful Mechanical Engineer / SolidWorks CAD Engineer will create high-quality, detailed technical drawings using SolidWorks CAD; producing product drawings suitable for use in manufacture. Key Skills and knowledge for the Mechanical / SolidWorks CAD Engineer should include: Minimum of HND/HNC or a Mechanical Engineering Degree. 4+ years commercial experience of 3D CAD using SolidWorks. 2D drawing skills.
