Job Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a GP surgery in Llynyfran SA44 who are looking for a locum Practice Nurse for a minimum of 6 months starting ASAP. Please see below:

Rate £35ph Self employed or Limited Company.
Duration: Minimum 6 months.
Days: Ideally Mon Tues and Thurs but can be flexible on days.
Hours: 08.30-17.30
Duties: Normal treatment room duties including Smears. No Chronic duties needed.
System: Emis WEB
Free Parking Onsite: Yes

Duties

  • Conduct patient assessments and take medical histories to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Administer vaccinations and perform routine health checks as required.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, addressing any concerns they may have.
  • Stay updated on best practices in nursing care and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • A valid nursing qualification and registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively assess patient needs.
  • Proven experience in patient care, demonstrating a commitment to high standards of practice.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
