Position Details
We are recruiting for a Pre-school Practitioner and Room Leader at our forward-thinking children’s nursery and preschool in Surbiton, catering to children aged 2-5 years across two dedicated groups.
Options for either a Practitioner/Senior Practitioner or a Room Leader. Candidates should be Level 2 or 3 qualified, with all senior staff holding Level 3 or higher. We offer both part-time and full-time hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide a positive learning environment promoting choice, independence, and diverse experiences, while meeting children\’s needs.
- Manage key person responsibilities and carry out daily and individual planning.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and caring environment for children’s well-being.
- Assist nursery management in delivering high-quality childcare daily.
Ideal Candidate
- Passionate about childcare, helping children achieve, play, and stay safe.
- Experience working with children under five.
- Qualified to NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Early Years childcare.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
