About the Position:

We are seeking to fill a Fleet Technician A (C Vacancy) position at our Saratoga and Gloversville locations, with a starting pay rate of $36.67/hour. Under direct supervision, you will perform routine repairs and maintenance on equipment, such as brake adjustments, valve grinding, and assisting higher-grade Fleet Technicians.

Job Qualifications:

  1. Valid New York State Inspection License (heavy duty, light duty, emissions) preferred.
  2. Valid Class A or B CDL License preferred.
  3. At least five (5) valid ASE certifications (e.g., T-1, T-2, T-4, T-5, T-8) preferred.
  4. Basic computer skills required.
  5. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  6. Valid driver\’s license required.
  7. Ownership of professional-grade automotive/heavy repair tools as required by the company.

Salary:

  • $36.67 per hour

Note: Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this role, incumbents are subject to federal drug and alcohol regulations under US Department of Transportation (DOT) rules, including FMCSA and PHMSA. The company\’s testing policies for prohibited substances will apply.

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with a local union, and new hires will be bound by its terms and other company-union agreements.
