Our Client is a successful Supplier of Fresh Produce, belonging to one of the largest Fresh Produce Groups in the world. We currently offer an excellent opportunity on their behalf to join the business as Junior Product Manager.

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, the position of Junior Product Manager will be based at a facility in Kent and will work as an integral part of a product specialist team managing the QC intake and allocation of fresh produce / fruit.

A hands-on, pivotal fruit product manager role working to ensure:

  1. Effective fresh produce product allocations on intake and production
  2. Customer satisfaction on fresh produce product decisions
  3. Stock management; managing rejections/collections, stock arrivals assessment, stock trackers
  4. Communication across all departments; liaising with the packhouse operations, commercial and buying teams
  5. Product quality assessment & reporting, ensuring a consistent & efficient approach to reducing complaints, rejections, wastage

We require:

  1. An experienced QC/Product focused individual with quality / technical / QC / QA gained from the Fresh Produce sector
  2. Fresh Produce exposure would be ideal
  3. Knowledge of the quality standards & product quality expected by retail customers
  4. Drive, passion and dedication is key for success in this position
  5. Strong communication skills, with flexibility to travel to sites across the UK

Salary: Dependent on experience offered + excellent Benefits
