Description

The postdoctoral researcher in this position aims to understand and harvest unique properties of dynamic magnetic fields in synergy with ferromagnetic catalysts to upgrade standard thermal and/or electrocatalytic catalytic reactions. This role involves collaboration with materials science researchers at Clemson and national laboratories, as well as performing experiments, troubleshooting instruments, and generating technical reports. Responsibilities include proposing research, executing plans, communicating progress, supporting grant writing, mentoring students, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

Required: PhD in engineering or physical sciences by Summer 2025. US citizenship required. Preferred: Experience in thermo-, electro-, or electromagneto-catalysis, catalyst synthesis, reaction studies, and characterizations.
