A post has arisen for the role of Patient Pathway Coordinator within the Dermatology service. This opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking to gain experience within the PPC administration role or those eager to delve into a new specialty.
As a Patient Pathway Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless management of patient pathways within our esteemed Dermatology service. You will be joining a highly efficient team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the point of contact for patients accessing elective hospital services throughout their pathway of care.
- Work under the direction of the Senior Patient Pathway Co-ordinator / Speciality Consultant Team and provide expertise in the proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring the entire pathway is managed smoothly.
- Provide a range of administrative support services to the speciality Consultant Team.
- Ensure high levels of patient care and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, customer-focused, and knowledgeable point of contact.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure a consistent approach across the Trust, describing how the functions of this role will be carried out along with the timescales that will be adhered to.
