ARNE is an apparel and footwear brand/retailer based in Birchwood Park near Warrington, UK. We design and develop our products in the UK, manufacture in the near & far east and then ship directly to our customers, via ARNEclo.com. We have recently branched out and are now also available via Selfridges both in store and online.

We have ambitious objectives over the next decade with the team believing all targets are achievable through new product category launches in shoes and womenswear alongside the creation of paid media, CRM activity and further international growth to amplify the great product / brand assets we have already created.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Fraud Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year experience in a similar role and will be responsible for detecting, investigating and preventing fraudulent activities across our digital platforms. You will work closely with our Customer Support, Finance and Operations teams to maintain a secure and trustworthy shopping environment for our customers.

  • Implement procedures and policies to prevent fraudulent activity
  • Use Fraud detection tools and analytics to assess risk and make decisions on order approvals or declines
  • Monitor transactions in real time to identify and investigate suspicious activity
  • Respond to customer contacts regarding suspected fraud through multiple channels
  • Investigate customer disputes and resolve chargeback in collaboration with payment processors
  • Analyse fraud metrics and prepare regular reports on fraud rates, trends and mitigation strategies
  • Maintain and update fraud rules and filters in fraud management systems
  • Continuously improve fraud prevention processes and recommend enhancement tools and processes
  • Collaborate with key departments to ensure fraud measures are in place
  • Stay current on industry fraud trends and compliance requirements
  • Educate and build the knowledge of the Customer support team to recognise fraud and coach on how to handle such issues.

Essential Experience and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools and navigating multiple systems
  • Flexible to work shifts during peak periods including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or call centre environment
  • Previous experience using gorgias
  • An interest in fraud, financial crime, or risk management
  • Familiarity with fraud detection tools or financial platforms
  • Degree or relevant qualification (not required but advantageous)
