We are partnering with a premium, award-winning Information Company that is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to join their IT team. This is a permanent position based in London, with flexible hybrid working (2-3 days remote). The role involves supporting global IT operations, leading expansion projects, and driving innovation within a fast-paced, technology-focused environment.
Senior IT Support Engineer responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional IT support (1st, 2nd, 3rd line) and resolve incidents within SLA timeframes.
  • Plan, implement, and maintain IT software systems, ensuring seamless integrations and upgrades.
  • Monitor key systems, perform administrative tasks, and maintain software/hardware asset management.
  • Develop and implement deployment strategies via Intune and administer Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Create PowerShell scripts to automate repeatable tasks and enhance efficiency.
  • Support technical troubleshooting across global sites, including AV, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Promote cybersecurity awareness and compliance, supporting data protection practices.
  • Collaborate on system selections, upgrades, and new implementations while driving continuous improvement.

Senior IT Support Engineer requirements:

  • A degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent, with ITIL Foundation v3/v4 certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior IT operations role, including advanced troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Intune, and M365 suite administration.
  • Proficiency in Windows 11, Windows Server, and Service Management Software (eg, Jira).
  • Experience with SSO, federated login, and compliance with security standards.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPNs, TCP/UDP) and PowerShell Scripting.
  • Excellent communication skills, user-focused mindset, and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Desirable: Certifications in Microsoft Azure/AWS/Cyber Security, or DevOps knowledge.
