Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Safety Advisor to join our team on a high-profile Data Center project in North West London. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional to develop their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Conduct site safety inspections and audits, identifying potential hazards and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
- Support the Safety Manager in ensuring all personnel comply with HSE requirements and company standards.
- Participate in safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for site personnel.
- Assist in investigating incidents, near misses, and accidents, and contribute to the development of preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation in compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Liaise with subcontractors and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety.
- Stay updated with health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification.
- 1-2 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably within the construction or data center sector.
- Knowledge of UK health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with all levels of staff and contractors.
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach to safety management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
