We are currently seeking a highly skilled Dutch Speaking Senior Accountant to join a dynamic finance team based in Hemel Hempstead. This is a permanent role offering an excellent salary, bonus structure, and the flexibility of hybrid working. Key Responsibilities :
- Financial Reporting : Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in compliance with both internal and external requirements.
- Monthly VAT and Intrastat Returns : Ensure timely and accurate submission of VAT and Intrastat returns for the Benelux region.
- Month-End and Year-End Closing : Oversee and manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all records are reconciled and accurate.
- General Ledger Management : Maintain and oversee general ledger accounts to ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting principles.
- Audit Support : Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary information and documentation is readily available.
What We’re Looking For :
- Benelux Accounting Experience : Proven experience working in the Benelux region, with strong knowledge of local accounting practices and regulations.
- Professional Certification : ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent (qualified or part-qualified).
- Native Level Fluency in Dutch : Essential for communication with Dutch-speaking stakeholders and clients.
- Experience with ERP Systems : Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally Oracle, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel : Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency to manage large sets of financial data.
