Community Carer/ Bank Carer – 30-hour contract
Liberty Care at Home LTD is a domiciliary company on the Isle of Wight providing high levels of care to our service users ensuring each service users individual needs are met.
We are looking for a Community Carer / Bank Carer to join our team.
The ideal candidate for this role will be punctual, reliable, caring, patient, compassionate and motivated to make a difference to our service user’s lives.
Responsibilities:
- Travelling to service users’ home to provide the highest level of care to each individual
- Health and Wellbeing such as administering medication
- Preparing meals for clients
- Observing, monitoring and record keeping
- Encouraging and support service users in day-to-day tasks
- Performing light housekeeping tasks
- Assisting service users with personal care such as washing, toileting, dressing etc.
Support and supervision will be given:
- Full training provided.
- £13 per hour weekdays, £15 per hour weekends.
- Mileage is paid at 45p per mile from your first service user to your last
- Employer pension
- 28 days annual leave – pro rata
Job Type:
30 hours per week.
Pay:
£13 per hour whilst in the probation period and then this increases to £14 per hour weekdays.
Weekends £15 per hour increasing to £16 per hour after probation period.
Schedule:
- Liberty Care at Home working hours are 7 days a week 7am to 10:30pm.
Language:
- English (required)
