Substitute Teachers (June & July Summer Programs)

SDSBVI is seeking flexible and dedicated Substitute Teachers for our June and July summer programs. This is an on-call, as-needed position providing instruction and support to students who are blind or visually impaired.

Guaranteed hours: June 9-13, July 14-25.

Pay: $20/hour.

Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction and support to students who are blind or visually impaired.
  • Assist with classroom activities, materials, and student progress.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with or willingness to learn about visual impairments.
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills.
  • Availability for on-calls as needed during program dates.
