We are looking for You to join our Production Planning Team as a Planner at our food ingredients manufacturing site in Overseal, Derbyshire. You will be part of the Sense Colour Division and will report to the Planning Manager.

We will consider experienced planners and candidates who wish to start a career in Planning as full training will be provided.

The hours of work are 8am-4.30pm with a 30 minute break and is an onsite role.

Purpose

You will be responsible for planning and scheduling finished products manufacturing.

Your Primary Responsibilities are

  • Monitor customers and affiliates orders, confirm shipment dates and plan production.
  • Plan production of semi-finish and finish goods.
  • Respond to customers and affiliates queries.
  • Collaborate with Production, Distribution and Transport Teams to ensure that orders are shipped as planned.
  • To solve issues, communicate and work with the relevant teams (Distribution, Transport, Production, Customer Care, Quality Control and Maintenance).
  • Achieve and maintain service level targets.
  • Monitor Slow Moving Stock and plan rework.
  • Work under the standards of quality, safety and industrial hygiene and good practices.

Your Professional Experience

  • Food industry experience preferable but not essential.
  • Production planning experience preferable but not essential.

Your Technical Skills

  • Can use Excel formulas and maintain complex spreadsheets.
  • ERP/MRP experience preferable but not essential.
  • You will need to demonstrate attention to detail.
