Overview

Job Title: TIG Welder

Location: Walsall, West Midlands

Duration: 3 months

Hours: Basic 8:00am-16:30pm Mon to Thurs, 8:00am-13:30pm Fridays (+ Overtime during week and weekends)

Pay Rates

1st 4 weeks:

  • 1st 40 Hours Mon-Fri: £17.50/hr + £2.11/hr Holiday Pay = £19.61/hr
  • Over 40 Hours Mon-Fri: £23.28/hr
  • Sat All Hours: £26.25/hr
  • Sun All Hours: £35.00/hr

After 4 weeks following satisfactory work performance:

  • 1st 40 Hours Mon-Fri: £18.50/hr + £2.23/hr Holiday Pay = £20.73/hr
  • Over 40 Hours Mon-Fri: £24.66/hr
  • Sat All Hours: £27.75/hr
  • Sun All Hours: £37.00/hr

The Role

Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for Tig Welders on behalf of our client, a market leader in the power generation, petrochemical, water and offshore sectors, for workshop based roles near Walsall. Duties will include 6G Welding of stainless and carbon steel tubes (butt weld tube to tube and fillets) and positional welding on pressure vessels, boilers, pressure parts and superheater pipework, etc. A weld test will need to be completed prior to starting which will need to pass X ray and MPI checks

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in 6G TIG welding
  • Previous 6G TIG codings
  • Ability to pass a weld test, which be subject to x-ray, DPI and MPI.
