Investment Operations Assistant Manager
Role Summary
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing data management processes, daily transaction processing and related accounting, both internal and client reporting in line with the company’s procedures and agreed SLAs.The role requires a keen attention to detail because ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of both internal and client deliverables are considered a critical aspect of the position.
The role has the following areas of responsibility:
- Oversee timely and accurate deliverables, both internal and client specific, in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve the set-up of new investors on Investran and record CRM data relating to the investors, their advisers and other contacts.
- Prepare, compile and issue client reports, contract notes, etc to investors, Fund Managers and IFAs consistent with the client’s SLA.
- Review and approve the client transactions, processed on Investran, and completed by colleagues on the team.
- Assist with the preparation and authorisation of the nominee company asset reconciliations.
- Assist with maintaining on-going process reviews and updating of company policies and procedures to maximise efficiency and create a best practice and controlled environment.
- Participate and contribute to client on-boarding
- Support the continued development of Fund and Senior Fund Administrators Support the team with respect to ad-hoc projects
- Act as a point of contact for client enquiries and promote the provision of service excellence.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely daily internal bank reconciliations and reporting in accordance with FCA client rules and collate data for the completion of monthly FCA reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of the Company’s regulatory and tax reporting requirements.
- Build effective relationships between individual team members and other support partners.
- Deputise for the Head of Investment Operations if required.
