We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Radiology Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure high-quality patient care within our Radiology Department. The ideal candidate is a certified radiologic technologist with proven leadership skills and a commitment to operational excellence and patient satisfaction.
The Radiology Manager is required to have the knowledge of using x-ray equipment to produce images of tissues, organs, bones, and vessels that are necessary for the diagnosis of orthopaedic conditions. In addition, this position supervises and coordinates schedules and operations of the radiology department.
Essential Functions
Key Responsibilities:
- Adjust staffing levels based on daily demands, scheduling needs, and anticipated volume
- Monitor clinical productivity and department workflows to ensure efficiency and performance
- Review patient experience and staff performance data to drive improvements
CLINIC:
1. Explaining procedures to patients and answering questions.
2. Preparing equipment for use as needed.
3. Preparing x-ray rooms for patient x-ray procedures.
4. Positioning patients for imaging exams.
5. Documenting information with computers.
6. Reporting important information to the physician.
7. Ensuring safety of patients.
8. Producing diagnostic images, as requested by the physician.
9. Prepares and maintains ultrasound equipment and retrieves images.
MANAGEMENT:
1. Makes necessary changes in staffing based on day of week and other anticipated events.
2. Monitors productivity of clinical operations pertaining to the radiology department.
3. Reviews data to monitor the patient experience and subordinate statistics.
4. Monitors individual and team results to identify and act on both positive and negative performance trends to ensure attainment of revenue goals and performance targets.
5. Monitors clinical operations to observe employee demeanor, technical accuracy, and conformity to company policies.
6. Answers questions and recommends corrective services to address patient complaints.
7. Provides communication and follow up to ensure operational staff are fully informed of all new information related to products, policies and procedures, patient needs, and company-related issues, changes, or actions.
8. Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
9. Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
10. Maintains harmony among staff and resolves grievances.

Required Education and Experience
1. Associate’s Degree in related field
2. A minimum of 5 years experience in Radiology

2. Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology
