Digital Merchandising Manager Retail Digital Transformation Somerset – flexible working considered – 2/3 days per month in the office as a minimum £50,000 – £60,000 A leading retailer in Somerset who are embarking on an incredible Digital Transformation are looking to hire a Digital Merchandising Manager and Digital Trading manager to join their eCommerce function. They have recently hired an inspiring Head of Digital who has a fantastic background and is looking to build a high performing team. You will get to join a team of 16 and support the growth of Merch and Trade. You\’ll own and optimize their search and merchandising strategy to ensure customers can effortlessly find what they need. From improving search relevance with data insights and keyword mapping and driving personalization, you\’ll make every click count. Responsibilities Reporting into the Head of Digital Trading, you will be play and be a pivotal role in defining the Onsite Search, strategy and Visual Merchandising Manage the relationship with the Search & Merch provider – implementing changes as you see fit Build and own the Search and Merch strategy with a goal of creating a more personalized approach across the business Review their Digital Tooling, to ensure they are moving with the ever-evolving ecommerce landscape and delivering customers the best experience across Web, App and Instore Drive changes to the online category strategy based on insights from customers, competitors and the brand strategy Devise strategies around Slow Moving Lines, New Products and Discontinued and how they can show these to customers in a way that drives Conversion & Revenue without being detrimental to the customer journey Collaborate with Digital Trading, Digital Marketing and Retail teams to ensure that the discoverability of products aligns to consumer behaviour and business expectations Experience Analytical skills to interpret data and make decisions off the back of it Ability to use GA4 and other merchandising tools at and advanced level In depth understanding of search journeys and platform capabilities, with preferred experience in Fredhopper or Algolia Experience managing and developing teams *Rates depend on experience and client requirements JBRP1_UKTJ
