My client is a leading legal PLC with offices in central Liverpool, and they are looking for an experienced MI Analyst to join their team.
Salary: circa £45,000 (negotiable).
Key skills: Power BI (M Query, DAX, Data Modelling, RLS), SQL query writing skills (SQL Server), Azure DevOps, Microsoft Excel.
The Role Will Involve
- Production and analysis of large quantities of data.
- Producing reporting for MI, ensuring key trends are identified and articulated.
- Engaging in prototyping, designing, developing, and publishing Power BI Reports.
- Engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including Director level.
- Developing Power BI Data models and recommending best practices for report creation and visualizations.
- Implementing security in reports and dashboards.
- Integrating Dashboards into applications using Embedded Analytics.
- Collaborating with Business Analysts to gather business requirements for Analytics and Reporting.
- Providing guidance to BI developers in the team.
- Troubleshooting reporting issues and tuning report performance.
- Building and modifying tables, views, and optimizing SQL queries and indexes as needed.
This will be a majority office-based role (circa 4 days per week) and therefore not suitable for those seeking fully remote or mainly hybrid positions.
